When stopped down, the lens accurately captures the smallest details, yielding images with very good contrast and ‘sparkle’. Combined with a digital rangefinder camera with a 1.3 crop factor, the lens has an effective focal length of 46 mm, similar to the standard 50 mm lens for film-based cameras.
